Calculation method

The choices that can change a chart stay visible

Birth timezone, historical daylight saving time, longitude, true solar time, Southern Hemisphere handling and the late-Zi-hour convention are recorded as explicit settings. Lunar input includes leap-month selection, and a known BaZi can be used to look for matching dates.

Can I calculate a BaZi chart without signing in?

Yes. The basic chart can be calculated and inspected in the browser. Signing in is used for cloud profiles, history, intelligent reports and follow-up conversations.

Why can two BaZi calculators produce different charts?

Differences usually come from timezone or daylight-saving data, longitude and true-solar-time correction, the late-Zi-hour rule, or different solar-term boundaries. YiMatrix keeps these choices visible so the result can be checked.

What if the birth time is unknown?

You can still inspect the year, month and day pillars. The hour pillar and interpretations that depend on it will be incomplete, so the result clearly keeps the unknown-time state.
