If the Self Line restrains the Useful God, there is no desire to return; if the Useful God restrains the Self Line, the return will be swift—this has been repeatedly verified.
If the Useful God encounters tomb, extinction, emptiness, or break, the return is uncertain; if it is explicitly or implicitly active, the journey is about to begin.🕰️ A hidden Useful God will return on the day it appears; an active line meeting a combination indicates delays due to circumstances; transformation into an advancing spirit suggests prolonged travel without return, while transformation into a retreating spirit indicates an immediate turnaround; transformation into an officer or ghost hints at potential disasters, and transformation into restraint is the most ominous. A hexagram changing into a reverse chant also signifies a turbulent return journey.
If the Self Line is empty, the traveler will arrive soon; if the Useful God is tranquil, weak, empty, or broken, there is no intention to return.⚡ Those with active emptiness or prosperous emptiness will return on the day or month when emptiness is fulfilled or activated; however, if the hexagram transforms into restraint or extinction, or if the Useful God is冲克 (attacked), the return is unlikely.
A triple combination of the Useful God indicates arrival on the day or month it is activated; a hexagram encountering six clashes suggests uncertain whereabouts and difficulty in returning.🌪️ A tranquil Useful God will return on the day it is activated; a Useful God entering the tomb will return when the tomb is opened.

If inquiring about safety, it is unsettled; but if inquiring about return, the hidden and harmed Useful God indicates no return. The change from six combinations to clashes also suggests no return.
