食神取运,即以食神所成之局,分而配之。食神生财,财食轻,则行财食,财食重则喜帮身。官煞之方,俱为不美。

土寄四隅,申亦土之长生也(见阴阳生死节)。年逢己未,日元弱而不弱;时上庚申,食神专禄,壬水生于申,子申合局,身强财食并旺。庚金透露,己巳戊辰帮身运甚美,印运亦吉。此俗所谓专禄格也(见时说拘泥格局节)。

同一身轻,而上造为食重财轻,此造为食轻财重,而身弱则一也。故皆以帮身运为喜。帮身之中,食重喜印,财重喜劫。此造得意,必在壬申癸酉运中。又两造比较,沈造格局清,此造格局较杂,贵贱高低之分,全在清浊纯杂之间。以其格局夹杂,虽在佳运,不过百里之尊而已。
