One result per local day
After the first completed draw, the hexagram and six-line pattern stay fixed in this browser until the local calendar date changes.

Daily Hexagram · I Ching · One Draw
One deliberate draw, held steady for the rest of the local day
Daily Hexagram offers a short reflective reading rather than a full question-based divination chart. The finite card animation ends in one of the 64 I Ching hexagrams. YiMatrix stores that result for the current local date, so reopening or changing language refreshes the text without reshuffling the hexagram.
A finite draw animation
The cards split, shuffle twice, gather and reveal. A slow response cannot leave the page shuffling forever; the sequence resolves or reports an error.
Five reading layers
The result brings together the hexagram image, overall tendency, traditional judgement, plain-language explanation and practical reflection where content is available.
How the daily result behaves
The line pattern is saved separately from its translated text
The first draw creates six yin or yang lines and resolves them to a hexagram number. YiMatrix saves the date, lines and number in first-party browser storage. When the language changes, it requests the matching text for the same number instead of drawing again. The next local day starts a new draw.
Daily Hexagram questions
Why does the hexagram not change when I refresh?
That is intentional. Daily Hexagram preserves one result for the current local date so refreshing the page cannot be used to keep drawing until a preferred card appears.
Does changing language draw a different hexagram?
No. Only the supporting text is refreshed in the selected language. The saved six-line pattern and hexagram number remain unchanged for the day.
Is this the same as asking a detailed SixYao question?
No. Daily Hexagram is a brief daily reflection without Na Jia, Six Relations or a specific question record. Use SixYao when you need a full line chart for one concrete matter.
