元守星迟流等论
看当生元守之星固好，又恐流年之星为患，如限主又 恶又弱，流年凶星重，则亦能死人，不可不察。若限主健， 只是流年为祸，必侯星出去方好。故经云：死守虽然无咎， 流年又怕为灾。元守虽醇，犹胜膏梁之有味，流年为患， 譬犹潢潦之无根是也。太岁最为紧要，大凡人命，须岁星 临驾，与太岁相关，木则富贵，岁君不收录，则无用之人，
又忌煞星破驾。凡人命，身与福德为重，有禄无福，禄将 安享，有命无身，命将安保。凡煞星，不要逢时要失时， 春木逢金，冬水逢土之类。煞星失时，主星有气，凡火为 煞，不宜昼生人，土为煞，不宜夜生人。木为煞防春，金 为煞防秋，水为煞防冬，火为煞防夏，皆得时失时之妙论。 看诸星，皆如看命之法，亦看三合，亦看正照，方断吉凶。 大抵论三合，四余轻，五星对照，四余重，五星轻，盖四 余。乃横冲直突之曜也。金尾若在太阳之宫，名曰映进。 若作命主，在太阳之前，为特进，又名曰金星映日。又口： 金星当权，皆主权贵。太阳之前，只喜身度主，命度主， 及金星在前者，皆作吉论。若太阳之前，或是刑囚暗耗， 名曰误进，误进不吉。命主及金星在太阳之后者，名曰后 进，其福减半。木罗会舍，在寅上为会吉。盖水喜于寅罗， 乐于寅，二星在得为会舍则吉，其他处不可以会舍言。火 气为职权，在卯寅上方为合格。盖火入庙于卯，生于寅， 寅又气星之垣，卯为气旺之地，二星相生，故为职权，不 以昼夜为忌，他宫减半。迟留伏逆，五星中紧要，学者不 可不明。迟则忌度，留则不行，伏则不见，逆则退行，有 用之基，顺行为福，迟留伏逆减力。经云：顺则优游，逆 则退缩，留则拘紧抑郁，伏则韬晦无光。如命午太阳忌木 气同缠，木前日后，退之为祸，日前木后，退之为福。留 者，用星留于实地，为福久远，煞星留于实地，为祸不休， 若留于虚地，祸福皆无。伏者，用星伏则无力，忌星伏而 无灾，逆者，退行也，有退为福，有退为祸，以理推之。
太抵煞星若失时，遗受时则吉，用神失时变制则 凶：设若杀星得时逢生，为祸明矣。但起五星须看迟 留伏逆，如逢留则昼留，逢伏则蜃伏，各注于星度之 下以便参究。
总诀：
五星遇日须当伏，三合逢阳定必留。 若是对宫为逆变，不逢阳处是为迟。
诸星并行，有先有后，大凡煞星则欲其前行，主星则 欲其后至。且如水火二星同行，水能克火，则以水为煞星。 如水星在前行，则不能克火，如火在前，水在后，其煞逼 身，最为利害，不可不审，诸星皆然。经云：煞前主后， 当膺宰辅之权；煞后主前，必有徒流之患。
总诀：
身命二星若无克，须郊金向木前行。 水火二星不相克，更饶水向火前行。 土月二星无相食，最宜月向土前行。
土之行迟月行疾，不分前后极难言。诸星退行，有退 而有力者，有退而无力者。且如退而有力，火金二星同行， 金在前，火在后，而退行。此煞星不敢进前以克其金，是 退而有情，如或金星退遇火顺行，是退而逢其煞也。五曜 皆然。亦有退而升殿，退而入垣，退而逢生，皆为有情， 又作吉论。或退而坐煞，退而逢煞，或退恶弱之宫，皆为 无力，可作凶论。
