Overall Translation
The Jiaqiu Pattern is a special configuration where the Day Branch and Hour Branch "vault" together to form a wealth repository. For example, a person born on Jia Yin Day at Jia Zi Hour vaults the Ji Earth in Chou as the wealth repository; Yi Mao Day meeting Ding Si Hour vaults the Wu Earth in Chen as the wealth repository; Jia Wu Day meeting Ren Shen Hour vaults the Ji Earth in Wei as the wealth repository. The principle is similar to the Gong Lu Pattern, with the key being to keep the vaulted position from being "filled"—if officials or sha stars appear in the pillars or trigger clashes and combinations, the pattern cannot form. Once the pattern is established, it requires the support of a strong body or wealth luck to bring prosperity.
Poetic hints: Combinations such as Ji Mao Day meeting Ji Si Hour, Hai Water (Black Pig) encountering extraordinary opportunities, and Chou (Metal Ox) meeting Shen Water can form this pattern. However, if accompanied by a Seven Killings or Seal Star disrupting the configuration, it may lead to disabilities or disasters. Remember, the vaulted repository branch must avoid being filled, and avoiding officials and sha stars ensures a life of purity and nobility.
🧩 Structured Component (Cases are vague; specific Bazi details are not inserted here)
Core Concept 💡
Utilizes the "vaulting" effect between Earthly Branches to indirectly draw out a hidden wealth repository, emphasizing the purity of the pattern and the need for supportive luck.
Modern Interpretation 🌟
In modern terms, this is akin to profiting from resource integration or potential investments while avoiding direct competition (officials and sha stars) and external interference (filling the vault). For example, in entrepreneurship, it suggests seeking blue ocean markets (vaulted wealth repository) rather than engaging in red ocean battles.
Practical Value ⚡
Philosophical Reflection 🤔
The dialectic of the intangible and the tangible—intangible resources are often more valuable than tangible assets but require wisdom to harness.
Overall Translation
This pattern applies to the five Yin Heavenly Stems (Ji, Ding, Gui, Xin, Yi) combined with the Earthly Branches Si, You, and Chou, divided into five categories:
Poetic hints emphasize: The pattern requires avoiding clashes and breaks; otherwise, fame and fortune will come to naught. For example, Yin Earth meeting Fire means "fame and fortune rest," while Yin Metal avoiding Fire means "both achievements fail."
Core Concept 💡
The five Yin Stems combined with the Metal formation (Si, You, Chou) seek refinement and nobility, avoiding clashes that disrupt balance.
Modern Interpretation 🌟
Practical Value ⚡
Philosophical Reflection 🤔
The coordination of Yin and Yang is the foundation of success. Overexposure (filling the vault) or confrontation (clashes) disrupts natural momentum.
Overall Translation
This pattern applies only to Bing, Ding, and Ji Day Masters, requiring an extremely weak body with no roots, completely submitting to the Seven Killings. Fire命 (Bing, Ding) should follow Northern Water luck (sha prosperity land) and avoid Southern Fire luck (seeing roots leads to death). Exceptions: Bing Day in Shen, Zi, Chou months; Ding Chou month; Ji Mao, Hai months, etc., do not abandon (due to hidden official stars). If the pattern forms, it brings nobility, but luck encountering root energy or opposing sha brings disaster.
Poetic hints indicate: Yang Stems following sha lack firmness; Yin Stems following sha can bring auspiciousness. Avoid official stars breaking the pattern; prefer wealth generating sha. For example, "Yang Fire prefers a weak body land," following sha can achieve general or ministerial status.
Core Concept 💡
In extreme environments, "retreat to advance," completely依附 to a powerful force (sha) for survival.
Modern Interpretation 🌟
Practical Value ⚡
Philosophical Reflection 🤔
Survival wisdom sometimes requires "abandoning the self to follow others," but the core is recognizing one’s position—not resisting when weak, not becoming arrogant when strong.
Overall Translation
This pattern involves an extremely weak Day Master with no Seal or Peer support in the pillars. If Wealth appears in the Heavenly Stems and the Earthly Branches form a wealth combination, the命 is abandoned to follow wealth. Wealth luck brings prosperity; avoid sha and Seal luck. For example, Yi Day meeting Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei Earth wealth prosperity. Following it may indicate fear of one’s spouse,入赘, or relying on a spouse to build a career.
Case: Wang Shiwan’s命, with four pillars of abundant wealth and a weak body (Geng Shen, Yi You, Bing Shen, Ji Chou), abandoned命 to follow wealth, hence his wealth.
Poetic hint: "Day Master rootless with heavy wealth, abandoning命 to follow it brings fortune."
🧩 Structured Component
Core Concept 💡
When resources (wealth) overwhelm the self,顺势而为 brings fortune, emphasizing dependency and realism.
Modern Interpretation 🌟
Practical Value ⚡
Philosophical Reflection 🤔
The balance of "舍弃" and "得到"—true wisdom lies in knowing when to persist and when to let go.
Overall Translation
This pattern specifically refers to the six Gui Days (Gui Chou, Gui Mao, etc.) meeting Geng Shen Hour, where Shen combines with the Wu Earth in Si to form the official star. The four pillars must have no Wu or Ji characters (filling the official star) and no Bing Fire (harming the Geng Seal). The monthly order must have strong Metal and Water to form. If the monthly order already has wealth and officials, it is considered an ordinary pattern.
Poetic hints emphasize: Gui Day at Geng Shen Hour, strong body in autumn and winter brings nobility. Avoid Yin clashing with Shen (breaking refinement); spring brings
Core Concept 💡
Uses the Seal (Geng Shen) as a medium to indirectly combine the official star (Wu Earth), reflecting indirect achievement and贵人提携.
Modern Interpretation 🌟
Practical Value ⚡
Philosophical Reflection 🤔
Success often comes迂回—direct pursuit is less effective than building a support system (Seal combining officials).
