楠曰:刑合格者,取癸亥、癸卯、癸酉日,见甲寅时,原四柱无字杀,方可用。盖取寅时,则寅能刑巳,则刑出巳中戊土作官星,则戊与癸相合也,故曰刑合格。若癸巳日,则有戊土破格,癸未癸丑日,坐下有七杀破格,又畏有巳字,京破格。有申字则申来冲破了寅,则寅不能刑也巳也,理也人为。
《喜忌篇》云:六癸日时逢寅位,岁月怕戊己二方。
旧注曰:此论刑合格。以六癸日为主星,用戊土为正气官星。喜逢甲寅时,用刑巳中戊土,癸日得官星,如庚寅刑不成。惟甲寅时,是行运与飞天禄马同。若四柱有戊字己字,又怕庚寅伤甲字,刑坏了。忌申字则减分数,岁君大运亦忌。
古歌云:癸日生人时甲寅,最忌四柱带官星。若无戊己庚申日,壮岁荣华达帝京。
补曰:癸日生人,即六癸日。时甲寅,即时若逢寅闰也。惟此为刑合格。最嫌四柱带官星,言用寅暗刑巳中戊土,为癸日之官星,怕四柱中带戊并巳填字,言官星,则杀亦在其中。故下文云,若无戊土之官,己土之杀,并巳字填实,及庚金克申,申字冲寅,可谓此格之纯。则早年发达,登庸朝宁矣。
又曰:阴水寅时格正清,又愁庚克不能刑。运行若不填蛇地,方得清高有利名。
又曰:癸日生人得甲寅,此名刑合格为真。若无戊己庚申字,便是腰金带玉人。
又曰:癸日寅时刑合格,入此格时须显赫。官星七杀莫相逢,庚申巳字为灾厄。
《鹧鸪天》云:但求癸日甲寅时,刑出官星贵可知。寅申冲出多灾祸,若见庚金便主悲。
逢戊己,遇刑冲,一生名利必然无。年时日月无刑害,须还马上锦衣荣。
补曰:旧注谓寅暗刑巳中戊土为癸日之官星,怕见庚克寅中甲木,申字冲寅,刑不起官星。未有怕见亥字,午戌字为羁绊,而或者乃创为亥字午戌字为羁绊,则非也。观古潘节使造成:乙未 癸未 癸亥 甲寅 则亥不绊寅也,明矣。

The Punishment Combination Pattern is a special configuration in Eight Characters (Bazi) fortune-telling, specifically referring to a 🌊 Gui Water Day Master (born on Guihai, Guimao, or Guiyou days) born during the Jiayin hour (3-5 AM). The core principle of this pattern is: using "Yin" to "punish" Si, thereby drawing out the Wu Earth Official Star hidden within Si, which then combines with the Gui Water Day Master, forming a noble pattern where the official star comes to combine with the self. However, to successfully form this pattern, strict conditions must be met: the Four Pillars must not contain any Official or Killer stars (Wu, Ji), the character Si (which would 'fill and realize' and break the pattern), the character Shen (which clashes with Yin and destroys the punishment setup), or the character Geng (which injures the Jia Wood). If this pattern is successfully formed, it indicates early achievement and a smooth official career; if broken, fame and fortune will be difficult to attain.
The Punishment Combination Pattern contains the deep philosophy of "no break, no establish." After the conventional path (directly encountering the official) is blocked, resources are instead obtained from another dimension (within Si) through a "destructive" mechanism (punishment). This reminds us that the constraints of rules (Official/Killer) sometimes need to be transcended by breaking conventional thinking (punishment). However, the prerequisite for success is that one's own system (destiny configuration) must have sufficient purity and capacity to bear it. Otherwise, after the "break," one cannot "establish" and instead suffers harm.
