赋云：戊己居于润五，萍梗他乡。此象乃戊申、戊子、戊辰三日，生于申子辰壬癸水旺之乡，非特贫贱奔波，合主四肢眼目疾，或恶疮脓血而死。辰戌丑未运应，其余土虚，逢水局，皆漂流之命，若目旺之土，在水局富贵，行火乡发达。如戊辰、甲子、戊甲、乙卯，是土虚逢润下，故主目疾为军。辛未、庚子、戊辰、壬子，土从众水，得土堤防，行丙申、丁酉运生财大发，交乙未运戊午年破财，复得平章之职，不可例戊己居润下为凶。
San Ming Tong Hui states: Individuals with Wuji Earth as their day master born under a pattern of overflowing water (the Shen-Zi-Chen triple water combination) are like duckweed drifting far from home 🌊. This pattern specifically refers to those born on Wu-Shen, Wu-Zi, or Wu-Chen days. If further encountering the water-strong locations of Shen, Zi, or Chen, it not only indicates poverty and a life of wandering but also susceptibility to ailments of the limbs, eye diseases, or fatal malignant sores and bloody pus. Disasters tend to manifest during Earth luck periods of Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei. Others with weak Earth encountering a water combination mostly have a destiny of drifting; however, if Earth energy is strong and vigorous and instead receives nourishment from the water combination, it conversely indicates wealth and nobility, with Fire luck bringing prosperity and development 🔥.
Case One (Earth Deficient, Water Overflowing):
Wu-Chen, Jia-Zi, Wu-Shen, Yi-Mao
Weak Earth cannot control the multitude of Water; water overflows and Earth collapses. Therefore, the individual joined the army due to eye disease (Note: The original text's "Wu-Jia" is likely an error for "Wu-Shen," corrected based on astrological logic).
Case Two (Earth Strong, Damming Water):
Xin-Wei, Geng-Zi, Wu-Chen, Ren-Zi
Thick Earth (Wei, Chen) dams and controls the water, containing its force. During Bing-Shen and Ding-You Fire-Metal luck periods, wealth was greatly generated; in the Yi-Wei luck period, during the Wu-Wu year (Fire-Earth strong), wealth was lost, but due to strong Earth, a high-ranking position was regained.
