Number casting applies the same modulo rules to the entered values, while manual casting records a known result directly. The primary hexagram is then used to derive the mutual, changed, reversed and opposite views and the Ti-Yong relationship.

What are the mutual, reversed and opposite hexagrams?
The mutual hexagram is built from the inner lines, the reversed hexagram flips the line order, and the opposite hexagram changes every yin line to yang and every yang line to yin. They are supporting views, not substitutes for the primary hexagram.
