When making friends and socializing, treat them like brothers and sisters; the Brother star in the hexagram is most feared if it falls into the Void或是 Death.
Friendships come in many forms: bonds as close as biological brothers, casual encounters where temperaments align, fellow professionals, chivalrous companions, differences in age, or avoidance due to social status. Since friendship is a bond between equals, the Brother star (Sibling line) should be the primary reference. It is most unfavorable if it falls into Xun Kong (Void) or Death/Extinction. 🔥
The Self line (Shi) in Void means my own thoughts waver and change constantly; The Other line (Ying) broken or scattered means the other party's intentions are likewise fickle and unreliable.
When Self and Other mutually combine and generate each other, it is like the perfect concord between Guan Zhong and Bao Shuya; when Self and Other clash and overcome each other, it is like the enmity between Sun Bin and Pang Juan.
