The sixth line is in heaven, facing the Parent Zi Water, symbolizing rain from heaven; the first line is on earth, symbolizing the well mouth. Heavenly water descends to earth, combines with the ground, and no longer flows, forming the image of a well.

The World Yao is at the fifth line, facing Wealth, which represents food and drink; Water also represents food and drink, so the hexagram image is very intuitive: water connected with food.

There is no Wood line directly appearing; the World Yao is Water, and the Wood line (Sibling) is hidden under Hai Water, echoing the image of 'wood submerged by water.' Wood only blooms when meeting Fire, but in this hexagram, both Wood and Fire are hidden, and Fire is restrained by the World Yao (Water), preventing Wood from growing. Originally, Water is nourishment for Wood, but excess becomes an obstacle. It symbolizes that efforts are not appreciated, or even good intentions lead to bad outcomes.
