If it does not obtain the auspicious patterns of the Three Marvels and auspicious doors but rides inauspicious patterns, it will surely bring death, mourning garments, and official disputes. If it falls in void emptiness, then there is no harm.
Specifically use the Du (Blocking) Door to determine. See in which palace the Du Door falls, and flee toward the direction corresponding to that palace. Then examine what heavenly stem the Du Door carries: seeing Wu indicates a noble person secretly sheltering; if the Du Door carries the Three Marvels, then departure is unobstructed and greatly auspicious. If the two are harmonious and equal, it indicates seeing the person but not receiving transmission. If they overcome each other, then one will not see the person at all. If the reverse, it is unfavorable. If further overcome and clashed by inauspicious doors and inauspicious patterns against the day stem, it is greatly inauspicious. If approaching the directions of void emptiness or entering tomb, or if the year fate of the day stem is in punishment, tomb, or void emptiness direction, it is also unfavorable.
Take Jiawu Xin as the criminal, and the Kai (Opening) Door as the judge. If the Kai Door palace generates the palace of Jiawu Xin, it indicates the judge has compassion and will not impose heavy punishment. If harmonious and equal, the crime will surely be light. If mutually clashing and overcoming, with inauspicious patterns riding along, the crime will surely be heavy. If Jiawu Xin falls in void emptiness and obtains the rescue of the auspicious patterns of the Three Marvels and auspicious doors, then the crime will surely be pardoned.
Take Jiawu Xin as the criminal—Xin being the Heavenly Prison, Ren the Earthly Dungeon, and Gui the Heavenly Net. Examine whether the palace where the day stem falls sits upon Jiawu Xin below; if so, it indicates imprisonment with inauspiciousness. If the palace where Jiawu Xin falls sits upon Ren or Gui of the lower plate, it indicates mistakenly entering the Heavenly Dungeon, and when the day arrives that breaks through it, one will surely leave prison. If the stems Ren or Gui of the upper plate sit upon Jiawu Xin of the lower plate, it is the Heavenly Net Covering the Head, indicating imprisonment. Also, if the stars and yi of the upper plate fall into the tomb storehouse or upon Ren or Gui of the lower plate, one will never leave prison and will become a ghost at the bottom of the dungeon. If it falls in a void emptiness palace, it is an empty prison, and one will not be imprisoned.
Use Jiachen Ren to deduce the Teng Snake. If the Value Star falls upon Jiachen Ren or the Teng Snake below, it indicates the plaintiff implicates many people. If the Yi Qi star falls upon Jiachen Ren combined with the Teng Snake below, it indicates the defendant implicates many people.
